What is Blackjack?

Blackjack on BossMahjong uses one 136-tile mahjong set instead of cards. You play against Naga, the table host. The aim is a total closer to 21 than Naga's, without going over 21.

Number tiles count their number, a 1 counts as 1 or 11, and winds and dragons count 10. This game is for players aged 18 and over and uses virtual points only.

How to play

  1. Choose how many points to play: 10, 20 or 50.
  2. You and Naga each get two tiles. One of Naga's tiles is face down.
  3. Tap Hit to take another tile, or Stand when you're happy. On your first two tiles you can also choose Double: the points in play double and you get exactly one more tile.
  4. If your total goes over 21, the round is over.
  5. Once you stand, Naga keeps taking tiles until it reaches 17 or more. The total closer to 21 wins. If it's a tie, you get your points back.

Tips from Bos Naga

  • Not sure whether to Hit or Stand? Try the bulb button and see its tip.
  • It's a game for fun. Keep it relaxed and stop whenever you like.
  • Naga wins more often than you, so over time fewer points come back than you put in, even with the tip.
